Netflix has released the first trailer for "Best. Christmas. Ever!", a festive film directed by Mary Lambert, set to hit the streaming service on November 16. In this holiday-themed feature, Heather Graham plays Charlotte, an uninvited guest with a mission to unveil the imperfections in the seemingly perfect life of her college friend, Jackie, portrayed by Brandy Norwood.

The storyline revolves around Charlotte's jealousy, stemming from Jackie's annual boastful holiday newsletters. Unexpectedly, Charlotte finds herself on Jackie's doorstep just days before Christmas, determined to prove that her old friend's life is not as flawless as it seems. The trailer showcases Graham's character wrestling with complex emotions linked to her past friendship. "Being here reminds me of everything I wanted to do with my life and didn't," Heather Graham's character confesses.

As the footage unfolds, Jackie confronts Charlotte about her hidden motives, exclaiming, "I knew you were sneaking around. What is your problem, girl?"

Jason Biggs and Matt Cedeño also star in the film, with Mary Lambert, known for "A Castle for Christmas," directing based on a script by Todd Calgi Gallicano and Charles Shyer. Executive producers for the film include Charles Shyer, Steve Berman, Bryan Bordon, Jimmy Townsend, and David M. Wulf.

In a recent interview with the Netflix promotional site Tudum, director Mary Lambert discussed the film's central theme, emphasizing that the two main characters have a lot of emotional baggage to unpack. She stated, "It's not as easy as it sounds, though, and I think for me, the movie tries to say that. Let's find something to laugh at in all this craziness."

Heather Graham is set to have two films, "Suitable Flesh" and "The Other Zoey," releasing in October. Brandy Norwood, renowned for her music career, recently starred in the ABC drama series "Queens."
